Scan items
Find a table record by scanning an item barcode or entering it manually on iPhone and iPad.
On iPhone and iPad, scan an item barcode to find its matching record in a loaded table and prepare a print job. Camera scanning requires a supported, available device; manual entry is the alternative. This feature is not available on Mac.
Free supports up to three saved labels and 20 labels per job. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase; technical quantity and storage limits still apply.
What you can do.
Choose a search column in the connected table. Bundled sample data is free; your own sources require Pro.
Use a supported camera or enter the code manually, including when camera permission is denied.
Scanning finds a record and prepares the next step. It never sends a print job automatically.
Step by step.
- 01 On iPhone or iPad, open Data and choose Scan Items.
- 02 Select the search column, then scan or manually enter the code.
- 03 Review the matching record, then choose the quantity and output method in Print.
Good to know.
There is no separate Pro lock for scanning. A loaded table is required; sample data is free and your own data sources require Pro.
Barcode camera frames are processed on the device and are not uploaded.
